Well going into the week with a 2-0 day yesterday in the East (Atlanta Braves and the over in the Miami/Philadelphia games). May is upon us and I am excited about this pick tonight. I am taking Cliff Lee and the Phillies to go into the West and rough up the Giants. The NL West has not even been close to their pre-season hype. Colorado has lead the division since the beginning of the season until a couple of days ago. That is not a good look for the NL West. Incidentally, the Phillies will walk into San Francisco and grab 2 of 3 from the Giants if not the sweep.

Philadelphia Phillies +132

Best of Luck,

As always looking to win four units a week and risking to win 2.5% per bet.

Nice winner with the Phillies last night. Their hitting continues to improve. I am happy with their road win. They are an underdog again tonight which is what I expected but not as much as the books released. They are sitting in the 30 cents underdog range. I got them at a 20 cents underdog so if you are betting them you can get a better price than I did.

Philadelphia Phillies +120

4-0 this week in the NL East. Hit my goal of 4 units this week and then some with the underdog wins sponsored by the Phillies.

I like the Washington Nationals +1.5 (-150) and the Philadelphia Phillies ML tomorrow.

I had Atlanta last night but was not able to get on Covers to post it. It is documented on Twitter.

Atlanta is still the bet tonight. I am taking them through the series as I am sure they will stay a 10-20 cents underdog. If your book has it I also like the over 6.5 in the Atlanta/San Francisco game.

Both teams can knock the stitches off the ball. What people don't realize is that AT&T Park is a hitters park. It does not have to be a home run hitters park to be classified as a hitter's park. A field that big, with that many gaps allows for those triples we saw last night. Look for a significantly higher than score than 6.5.

Additionally, if you watched Teheran pitch last night then you watched what Matt Cain can do. I like Hudson and Cain's stuff but keeping these ball clubs under 6.5 is going to be a chore for even the best of pitchers.

5 - 0 on the week thus far. Hitting mostly dogs and loving every minute of it. Someone, also asked me about the Nationals tonight. My lean is TT over 3.

Going to be out of the loop for most the early games this morning. I am sticking with Atlanta for the series as stated earlier and over 6.5 again. AT&T Park is all about the gaps... great hitters park for both teams. The bigger and more dynamic the park the more the gaps, corners, edges and extra base hits are allowed.

Atlanta Braves +116
Atlanta Braves/San Francisco Giants over 6.5

The Braves got smoked today but I hit the over with flying colors. Okay still on Atlanta tomorrow and the over but I am going to wait to see if the lines come down.

All right this is the last game of the series between the Atlanta Braves and San Francisco Giants. I am excited about it because I am looking for a big win by Atlanta as a favorite and again for the total to pop over 6.5. Medlen takes the mound today and although his record is dismal I do not reflects on how he is pitching. I like the Braves to take the field today with a chip on their shoulder and make this a split series.

Atlanta Braves -108
Atlanta Braves/San Francisco Giants over 6.5

It is going to be funny when Pittsburgh out hits the Mets and Harvey loses. Looking for a dog to take... I recommend the Pirates. You can get them as an 85 cents dog and lay half a unit on them and boom you are in business. Perception: Harvey. Home team. -200. Most inflated line I have seen this year.
