Curacao is an island in the South Caribbean Sea off the Venezuelan Coast with over 140.000 inhabitants from different ethic backgorunds. Curacao is famous for some of the best underwater diving in the world along with stunning architecture and a vibrant art scene. The Atlanta Braves Andrelton Simmons hails from Curacao and has a sizzling bat at the moment. Simmons has two doubles two HR's and four RBI's in his last two games with a multi HR game last nihgt vs. Cincinnati. Simmons also has six multi hit games in his last 14 with a .321 average. The Atlanta Short Stop also has not chalked up any errors on the season with the glove and provides the Braves speed on the base pads. Simmons and the Braves look to win their first Road Series vs. Cincinnati in four years if they can come out on top at Great American Ball Park again tonight. Medlen 1-4 3.38 ERA however has lost three straight starts with a 5.48 ERA in that time frame. Bailey is 1-3 3.56 ERA and has not won since April 5th going 0-3 4.02 ERA in five starts since. Run Support has been the problem for Bailey with only three runs of support in Bailey's starts and none in three outings during Bailey's current winless streak. Votto is 6 for 31 with two RBI's in the last nine games vs. Atlanta and also batting .417 in a nine game period overall. Brain McCann was 0-4 with a BB last night returning back to the lineup after shoulder surgery in his season debut with Atlanta but may be more productive tonight offensively with one full game under his belt. Medlen task tonight will be getting through the Cincinnati order with as few mistakes as possible and not putting himself in bad situations with careless walks. Bailey will also seek to pitch the cleanest game possible looking finally to receive some Run Support from the Cincinnati offense. Even though Upton and Gaddis may be considered some the Big Sticks in the Atlanta Lineup, Simmons with his current performance could be on his way into an induction into that club. Atlanta now with a 19-12 overall record and 10-7 Road. Cincinnati 18-15 overall record and 12-5 Home. The over is 5 for 5 in last five Atlanta Road Games. Atlanta is 1-4 SU last five vs. Cincinnati. Reds ranked 2nd in NL in run production at Home with 5.4 Runs per game. Cincinnati is 9-3 SU last 12 Home Games.

Even though Bailey has good numbers vs Atlanta his recent numbers overall combined with Medlens recent numbers should provide some scoring opportunites for both teams. Simmons and Schafer contributed last night and McCann may come alive tonight as well with his career numbers at Great American Ballpark. The focus today will be Over 7 1/2 -110 looking for scoring with fundamental hitting and deep balls plus a possible big inning like last night in the middle to late innings that breaks the game open.

Against the grain possibly fading Bailey's numbers vs Atlanta and placing more emphasis on his overall season going winless since April 1st with a 4.00 ERA. Wet conditions also may provide some sloppy play with runners advancing.

Braves had that bases loaded opportunity there in the first inning and almost came up with nothing. McCann came through however and felt fortunate to get three at the begining of the game. That first inning really ate into Bailey's Pitch Count.

Yep Kimbrel will shut the door and that will be that. Looking at that 4-3 Final that just falls short.

Damn if Kimbrel did not give up the HR to tie the game 4-4. Skin Of the Teeth right there. Holy shit another blown save by Kimbrel three in five outings. Damn another HR to win it for Cinncinnati. You never see that off Kimbrel until this past few weeks.

Thanks Golfing Maumelle and nice chating with you tonight. Back to back game tying and winning HR's in the bottom of the ninth. Heartbreaker for Atlanta as the only time Cincinnati lead the entire game was when they won it. Dusty Baker's 1600th all time win according to announcers. Damn what a MLB game. Stay Safe RX Land.
