Oh I'm sorry, I just went to ESPN and looked him up. Yup, Pujols is still playing.

(Sarcasm ending)

Ok, he went 2 for 4 tonight but damn 5 HR, 19 RBI and .240 for the season isn't going to cut it. Pujols has got to start banging balls out of the park!

Come on LAA, you got all the ingredients to be a contender but there is no fire!

WTF?

I will beg to differ on this point. They have all the ingredients to be a great hitting ballclub, that might hit their way to a championship. This teams rotation is absolute crap without any signs of improving. Even when Weaver gets back, they are still going to wish they had the staff of 3 other teams in in the AL West alone. If there is not some sort of fire lit soon under this staff I am not sure they will not battle the Astro's for the cellar in the AL west.. at least the Stro's play with heart!!!

Congrats on 600

Pujols became the ninth member of the 600-home-run club, joining Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755), Babe Ruth (714), Alex Rodriguez (696), Willie Mays (660), Ken Griffey Jr. (630), Jim Thome (612) and Sammy Sosa (609). At 37 years and 138 days old, he is the fourth-youngest member of the club, trailing only A-Rod, Ruth and Aaron.

Pujols was the first player to hit Nos. 499 and 500 on the same night, and now he's the first player to reach 600 with a grand slam.
