According to our daily MLB Preview, Atlanta will be without Manager Fredi Gonzalez tonight and tomorrow as he attends his daughter's college graduation. Carlos Tosca will be the interim manager tonight as Atlanta squares off with San Fransico at AT&T Park. Atlanta 21-13 winning two 6-4 Last 10 has batted .310 with 8 HR's and 29 Runs winning four of last five but may run in some road blocks tonight if Matt Cain can expand of his career numbers vs. Atlanta. Cain 1-2 5.57 ERA is 3-1 1.35 ERA in last five outings vs. Atlanta and appeared sharp in his last outing allowing only one runs in seven Innings Pitched. Hudson is 4-1 3.83 ERA but like Cain's advantage in this matchup has a 6-0 2.23 ERA in last ten outings vs. San Fransico and only 3 Runs in 15 Innings Pitched last two starts at AT&T Park. Hudson is 1-1 5.29 ERA in three Road Games this season. McCann may be getting more comfortable at the plate with 3 Hits, a HR, and 3 RBI's in his third game back and is .340 with 3 HR's and 10 RBI's in 12 Games vs. San Fransico. Posey is .481 with 10 RBI's last seven overall and .373 with 4 HR's vs. Hudson. San Fransico 20-15 losing one 7-3 Last 10 looks for Posey to have another good night with the stick vs. Hudson. Another late start time for East Coast Viewers but this pitching matchup may be worth the wait if both pitchers live up to their great numbers. Source: ESPN And CBS MLB Preview.

This a tough game to make a choice on. Both pitchers could be very dominant tonight in a spacious AT&T Park but could see some manufactured runs as well with these lineups. Last night saw 2 two run Home Runs early and triples in the fifth inning. Those alleys splitting the outfield are key tonight with Hudson and Cain not prone to giving up many deep balls in this matchup. Upton has been quiet lately and may have a deep ball tonight and maybe Posey or Sandival or possibly nobody. Thinking runs scores tonight may include one or two solo shots and maybe a couple of manufactured runs off doubles and triples in the alleys.

I do like the way Schafer and Simmons have produced this week in the lead off spots and with their speed Atlanta may have a small advantage on the base pads. McCann towards the bottom of the order gives the Braves some pop and Atlanta did well last night clearing the pitcher making way for the top of order. Even though Hudson has done well at AT&T in past outings, his road outings this year are where he has suffered the most damage. If Atlanta can avoid the strikeouts tonight and get Schafer and Simmons aboard they may scratch out a few runs off a tough Cain in this matchup. Today the focus will be Over 3 - 130 First Five Innings looking for Hudson and Cain to have to run through may tough hitters without any scoring opportunites coming into play. B. Posey Hits Runs RBI's Over 2 - 125 for a small prop rounds out the night.

No scoring on two hits by both pitchers until the bottom of the fourth where San Fransico had multi hits and scratched out 6 runs in a big big inning that makes the over 3 First Five Innings a winner for the evening. 6-0 Giants as I get some rack time for the night. Stay Safe RX Land.
