If I were a Bulls fan I'd never cheer for D. Rose again

It's been one year since his ACL tear. He's been cleared to play by the Bulls medical staff for two months. He warms up before games.

His teammates are out there fighting and clawing with everything they have while this pussy sits on the sideline because he's what too scared?

A. Peterson has 10 times the heart this sack ever had. Guys playing with separated shoulders and torn rotator cuffs etc. and he's too scared to compete.

I hear all the time he's such a good kid. I'll never root for him again.

Adrian Peterson is the worst thing that has ever happened to athletes trying to come back from ACL tears.

I guess you're right but when I see 99% of athletes with ACL tears come back sometime within 365 days and I see him cutting and dunking in warmups, I say to myself "this guy needs to take his skirt off and help his team."

no offense but if his teammates are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and have his back then that is plenty good enough for me. I hate the Bulls typically unless they're playing Miami or Boston but I've always been impressed with how hard Rose plays. If he even has the slightest shred of doubt regarding his ability to play effectively in a game, then he can wait. We're talking about a knee, and we're talking about a player who is used to being the most explosive player in the court.

No offense taken Dsethi but what are his teammates supposed to say? He's a superstar and their leader. They aren't going to call him out.

many players who rush these acl's never come back. i see no issue with rose not playing this season.

read the article I posted.

uh they're supposed to say what they think, what they've got a muzzle on because it's Rose? You think Noah would go off like that because he doesn't want to call out his teammate?

If you think professional athletes say what they think you are mistaken. Of course they do on occasion but when they do, it's out of the ordinary.

A ton invested in Strasbourg as well but he begged to play last year and help his team. Some players compete while some do not.

so you're saying Noah faked all that emotion? And that in reality he actually thinks Rose is a huge pussy and hates him?

Of course nobody hates him but if you don't think every single one of them are questioning his toughness, I don't know what to tell you.

All of us fans are questioning his toughness. I'm sure his coaches and ownership are as well especially after what his brother said earlier in the year.

Strasburg wasn't injured when they shut him down. That comparison isn't even remotely fair.

The guy suffered a tremendous injury and came back pretty quickly. He wanted to compete and help his team and not cheer from the sidelines. He had Tommy John surgery that usually requires 12-18 months of recovery. He made his first rehab start 345 days from when he first suffered the injury. Tommy John for a pitcher is the equivalent of an ACL tear for a basketball player.

Sometimes you have to think about the big picture. Give up 1 year now, get you're likely to get 10 great ones. Roll the dice, he could blow it out again in the first 5 minutes back, or he could play fine and the Bulls still lose. Only in your ideal Hollywood ending does he rip off the warm ups, come in the 4th quarter of game 7, and hit the winning shot. For gamblers that live on percentages, playing now isn't a good risk reward.

As a competitor, he should want to come back. As a franchise, they shouldn't let him. It was ridiculous that they said he was clear if he wasn't ready to play!

Why is it ridiculous? He is medically cleared to play and it's their job as a medical staff to clear him. They can't help if he has a vagina.

He is clear to play and from what I've heard he does everything in practice just like he was never hurt. If that is the case then one must wonder why he isn't playing. It must be a mental block in my opinion .

Adrian Peterson is a genetically modified human being. His heal rate isn´t normal....but in all seriousness, playing hurt and playing injured are two different things. Not sure how that relates to Rose, but he knows his body better than anyone. I´d love to see him go, but this guy has YEARS ahead of him. Seems too big of a gamble to risk a late injury....he needed more time to get acclimated.
