playoff length is fine, the format just needs to be changed to 2-3-2 for all series (like the Finals format).
2-3-2 still very much favors the higher seed, as it's incredibly rare that the lower seed team sweeps their 3 straight home games.
the 2-2-1-1-1 creates so much wasteful and uncessary travel back and forth, it's ridiculous.

Love watching NBA basketball. I do think the playoffs would be better with fewer days between games, even from the standpoint of lost momentum it bothers me (yet alone, the actual waiting). I like having every series be 7-games long. Shorter regular season would be fine by me - as PatsFan says, fewer back to backs.
