On this Mother's Day Sunday the Atlanta Braves and the San Fransico Giants close out the series with San Fransico concluding the Giants 10 game homestand and winning 9 of last 12 overall. Since winning the first game Thursday, Atlanta has a combined 10 Hits and have been outscored 18-3 in back to back defeats. Yesterday's 10-1 beatdown may have been the worst since the Detroit Series a few weeks ago. Lincecum is 2-2 4.75 ERA and allowed five Runs in each of his last two starts after only allowing two Runs in his previous two. Lincecum is 0-4 4.38 ERA in his last four outings vs. Atlanta in the regular season but did throw a 2 Hit shutout vs. Atlanta in the 2010 Division Series. Medlen is 1-4 3.25 ERA and has lost three straight decisions. Medlen allowed two Runs in seven Innings Pitched last time out vs. Cincinnati but did not get the decision. Scutaro is .488 in an eleven game hit streak and had his fifth consecutive multi hit game performance yesterday. McCann has a 13 game hit streak vs. San Fransico and is .345 vs. Lincecum and .330 at AT&T Park overall. Game time for this Mother's Day is 4:05 EST after some people might get in an afternoon nap following a Mother's Day Lunch. Atlanta wil have to find some offense today giving Medlen Run Support if they hope to salvage a split in this West Coast Series. The Big Inning has been a storyline so far in this matchup with the Giants on the winning end two day in a row. Atlanta will look for a Big Inning today and may have scoring opportunites if Lincecum's regular season numbers in this matchup continue. Souce: ESPN And CBS MLB Preview.
