On this Mother's Day Sunday the Atlanta Braves and the San Fransico Giants close out the series with San Fransico concluding the Giants 10 game homestand and winning 9 of last 12 overall. Since winning the first game Thursday, Atlanta has a combined 10 Hits and have been outscored 18-3 in back to back defeats. Yesterday's 10-1 beatdown may have been the worst since the Detroit Series a few weeks ago. Lincecum is 2-2 4.75 ERA and allowed five Runs in each of his last two starts after only allowing two Runs in his previous two. Lincecum is 0-4 4.38 ERA in his last four outings vs. Atlanta in the regular season but did throw a 2 Hit shutout vs. Atlanta in the 2010 Division Series. Medlen is 1-4 3.25 ERA and has lost three straight decisions. Medlen allowed two Runs in seven Innings Pitched last time out vs. Cincinnati but did not get the decision. Scutaro is .488 in an eleven game hit streak and had his fifth consecutive multi hit game performance yesterday. McCann has a 13 game hit streak vs. San Fransico and is .345 vs. Lincecum and .330 at AT&T Park overall. Game time for this Mother's Day is 4:05 EST after some people might get in an afternoon nap following a Mother's Day Lunch. Atlanta wil have to find some offense today giving Medlen Run Support if they hope to salvage a split in this West Coast Series. The Big Inning has been a storyline so far in this matchup with the Giants on the winning end two day in a row. Atlanta will look for a Big Inning today and may have scoring opportunites if Lincecum's regular season numbers in this matchup continue. Souce: ESPN And CBS MLB Preview.

Posey, Scutaro, Sandoval, Blanco have been contributing for San Fransico. Looking for one more final big inning in this series this afternoon by one or even hopefully both teams. Today the focus will be Over 7 - 118 with tough hitters coming through both side of the lineup card. McCann loves to play at AT&T and may provide a spark today that helps Atlanta rekindle their offensive fire.

A solo HR by Belt and another by Sandoval plus a manufactured run has the Giants up 3-0 after three complete innings. Atlanta really needs to find some offense soon or they may be facing a Mother's Day Beatdown going into Arizona tomorrow.

Scutaro with a solo HR and Blanco continues to be on a RBI tear and Giants have a 5-0 lead after five complete innings. Three solo HR's today but could not get any baserunners to go with them.

Atlanta gets one run in the ninth to spoil the San Fransico shut out with a 5-1 final but stills falls one run short of our over 7 today to get a push on Mother's Day. Never had those baserunners needed when those three solo HR's left the yard. Lincecum was very sharp today with a two hit shut out when he exited in the seventh. Braves drop the West Coast Series with San Fransico 3-1 and were never in the final two games only scoring two runs in two days.
