One homer will come from Freeman, the other from Andrelton Simmons. But I'm not taking the Braves to win this game. I'm predicting this thing to go over 7.5 runs. Both of these pitchers have been beyond bad in their day games, each with ERA's over 6.00 in daytime. This game starts at 1 p.m. local, and that is bad for Timmy Lincecum, because last year in day games he went 3-6 with a 6.19 ERA. But that's not even the worst part. He gave up 11 HRs in only 52 innings in daytime, and this year that trend has continued as he gave up 2 HR to the shitty Cubs in a day game at Wrigley a few weeks ago. In fact, Lincecum has struggled against two of the worst offenses this year: Cubs and Phillies, and you can even include the Rockies in that cause he got to face them at home where the Rockies are usually weak.

Medlen has already been abused in his two day games this year, and now he has to face a line-up where -- get this -- every single batter is hitting better than .271 vs righties. Poor Medlen is not going to have a single batter that he can let his guard down with. His only hope is that Pence and Sandoval leave this game early due to their recent injuries. Problem is, both are projected to play today. And then, once Medlen leaves the game, the fun really starts. The Braves' bullpen has a 6.13 ERA in their last 10 games.

Here's how this game is going to go. The Braves will get four runs off Lincecum. 1 HR will score two, the other will be a solo shot. They will get one more run, and then Timmy exits. The Braves will not score against the Giants bullpen. The Giants will get three runs off Medlen and two off the bullpen (one of which will be a HR).

Final Score:
Giants 5
Braves 4

Money Stat: Over is 11-0 in Braves' last 11 road games

Money Stat #2: Over is 6-1 in Giants' last 7 home games.

Final Money Stat: Scutaro is batting .488 in his last 11 games. He may knock in 2 runs himself.

Also, I thought Laird was starting in place of McAnn. I'm glad it's McAnn. He has a .334 avg vs Tim in 29 at bats, with a HR. I like this line-up today.
