according to box office mojo, critics are hating it, fans enjoying it.....already made 51 million in its first week, pretty good for a "musical" type movie......
not disputing that you didnt like it, i dont think i would either, but apparently its doing what it hoped to do....51 million when Iron Man 3 is taking all the box office money, is pretty impressive....it might dip quickly though

I don't really dig this director... Bas Luhrman (sp?) - he did Romeo and Juliette, Mulan Rouge, Strictly Ballroom, and probably a few other things. It's always more style than substance with him. His more recent movies tend to be on the longer side, too - what ever happened to the 105min film?! Ugh.

Carey Mulligan was Good... and so was Tobey Maguire

I did Not see it in 3-D, because there was NO reason to.
