Shame on the parents of these kids who act like animals. And shame on the schools for letting the animals run wild. It brought a tear to my eye seeing what some kids endure. When I was a kid - teachers had the authority to grab someone who was acting up and shake them up pretty good. My friends and I still talk about some of the insane teachers and the things we experienced at their hands... but I'll tell you what - I'd much rather have a teacher slapping a bully around than a bully slapping an innocent kid around.
Things have changed so much here in the good old USA. The burden falls on the parents more than ever - and many parents just flat out suck.
biggest reason for this is the bad economy, which means both parents (if they're still together) have to work. and if they're not together, each is definitely working. either case means less time with their kids. it all starts there.
second biggest reason are the horrible relationship choices people are making and how that affects their kids - record number of births out of wedlock, record number of divorces, etc.
when you combine those factors with all the modern conveniences of technology and social media (which have replaced parenting), and the ready supply of drugs and guns.. it's a perfect storm. things are only going to get far worse.
