Of the 3 Bold Ruler was the best by far. 2 year old speedster was 6-5 in the Derby and failed then won the Preakness and was voted Horse of the Year. I always bet Bold Ruler offsprings especially the speedy 2 year olds Impressive, Queen of the Stage & Bold Lad; he was leading Sire for 6 straight years.

TTT is right although nothing was more heartbreaking than when Real Quiet lost on the wire. I still get chills watching that run down the stretch.

so damn close.. by the naked eye I actually thought he was the triple crown winner.
