The Los Angeles Dodgers Chris Capuano is 1-2 6.60 ERA this season but is coming off his best outing of the year yielding one run in seven Innings Pitched and will look to lock down an Atlanta Braves lineup that now has Freddie Freeman, Brian McCann, and Jason Heyward all back together after each being on the DL this season. Capuano is 4-1 1.82 ERA in last eight games vs. Atlanta. Medlen is 1-5 3.44 ERA and allowed a season high 3 HR's and 5 BB's in his last outing. The Braves have lost the last five of Medlen's starts with Medlen only receiving 2.72 runs in support. Medlen is 2-0 2.30 ERA vs. LAD however and desperately needs a good outing tonight at Turner Field. Kemp saw his 14 game hitting streak broken last night and is only 3 or 35 in last 10 in Atlanta. Heyward reached base three times and scored twice in last night's game and Atlanta will need a similar performance by Heyward tonight but may run into roadblocks against a tough Capuano in this matchup. Justin Upton belted a grand slam last night and is 5 for 14 with a HR vs. Capuano. Both teams check in with a 4-6 Last 10 but Atlanta does have a 10-5 Home Record. Cappy Capuano has been tough in this matchup in the past and may very well be again tonight even with Freeman, McCann and Heyward healthy and back in the lineup. Big game for Medlen tonight as he tries to get his season turned around but Atlanta will have to find a way to plate a few runs of support for Medlen off Capuano a task that is easier said than done.
