So dumb. Take your nerd non prescription glasses, skinny tight jeans, frohawk, guaged ears, being different because it is "cool", smug attitude, elsewhere. Grow up, get a job and quit crying about the norms of society. That is my Sunday rant of the week. Carry on.

As soon as the women stop fucking them, they will be gone. Until then we are stuck with the idiots. Always the womens fault.......

I think they've kinda replaced the wannabe gangsters. That whole acting black/thug suburban white kid vibe has seemed to die down compared to 90s and early 00's and it is replaced by the hipsters movement.

^^ there's still a ton of wiggers unfortunately.

Hmm...Less though I think. Gangster rap/Snoop/Dre that whole movement kinda dead.

People wanna be more like Russ Westbrook or Kanye now in terms of how they dress rather than someone like say, 2pac.

also the irony of looking different by dressing the same as everyone else who is trying to be different.

This is nothing new though, been going on for awhile. Styles/subcultures come and go...

Whether it be hippies, disco, 80s, 90s baggy clothes, hipsters now etc

really ?

You are in Austin no? Isn't that like their capital? Atleast that is what pop culture tells me.

I'm 48 years old raising three teenagers, I don't spend much time wherever these "hipsters" (whatever they are) hang out.

Does that answer your question?

Yeah just figured they are all over the place and with 3 kids you would see them at like social functions, games for your kids or whatever.

Basically you know how Russ Westbrook dresses with like the lenseless eyeglasses, tight jeans, kinda over the top? That is them more or less.

Portland is the land of hipsters... It is frustrating. I don't care so much about how people look, but, the fucking slow ass lackadaisical attitude, all the while feeling entitled and superior... Fucking kills me.
