rides. Now, the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will be the latest to offer an attraction at dizzying heights.

The hotel-casino on Wednesday announced the VooDoo Skyline is set to open late this summer.
Riders will soar 400 feet in the air at breakneck speeds, enjoying 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Strip.
The one-minute, 10-second ride will take off from the VooDoo Lounge atop the Rio's 50-story Masquerade tower. Guests will zoom more than 800 feet to the Ipanema tower reaching speeds of 33 mph. This is where it gets unusual. Guests will then fly back to the starting point backwards.
"When developing VooDoo Skyline, we sought to create a one-of-a-kind, adrenaline-packed Vegas experience," said project partner Joe Shortal. "The zip ride - which is different than a zip line - will appeal to guests of all ages, offering both daytime and nighttime center-Strip views at exhilarating speeds that will take your breath away."
VooDoo Skyline will be in operation seven days a week, from noon until midnight.
