JT - Daily Baseball Picks

Hi everyone,

I decided to make my own daily baseball pick thread - I've posted 2 plays - on the forum and I'm hoping to provide my insights and picks that are either good bets or fades depending on your point of view.

Also I am betting for a living to pay my bills - so every Play I list here matters to me - its not some sideshow or hobby for me.

I watch alot of baseball and try to analyze - trends / match ups and likely winners.

So my Starting Record is 1-1

My Early Pick is the Royals/LAA Over - I bet it at Over 9 1.885 I've been hot in this Series taking the Angels the first 2 games - and today I feel that KC realizes that Good Pitching is not going to win Games - they have to start hitting and walking - as the Angels right now are an automatic 5-6 runs a Game I see the Royals maybe not winning the game outright but being alot more competitive than the first couple of games -- I think we are going to see 11-13 runs in this game today. Angels weakness is pitching and I really believe today despite KC's hitting struggles - we can cash an over ticket. I'd say the likelihood of winning this game is 70%

The other Game is Tor / Balt .. I've been hot in this matchup as well - cashing 2 overs .. and I like the over today as well. Dickey flat out walks people and with both sides seeing the ball well - I think this can Sail over again today .. I took Over 9 2.02 Another Game I think hits 70% of the time.

Other Games I bet today : NY/Tampa - Under ........ San Diego - Arizona Under ... both of these I rate at 60% ... no thoughts on these - a little more random than the 2 above.

1/1 record .. 4 bets today .. cheers...(there will be no more picks until tomorrow - I don't bet other games win or lose)

In case its not immediately obvious - the higher % chance I think it will win - the more I bet..... I'm just going to pick the games - give you my % - and up to you what you do with the info.

Tor/Balt no Problem : winner ... KC Vs Angels : loser -- KCity struggled again today 7/0 -- they are going to have to shuffle their lineup - the lack of any confidence is terrible

1/1 Very Slight Profit on the day so far - with the 2 smaller plays remaining.

3/4 today with the largest two bets winning - personally I finished ahead $17 which won't even cover the internet bill - so going to have to get back with some nice winning days again.

overall now 6/7

Not sure if you watched the Games but basically every game went to the 9th inning except the SD/Ari Under which is already over in the 4th or 5th.

Cincy / Cleveland Under 60%

Minn/Milw Over 70%

SanDiego to beat Seattle 75%

San Diego even though they lost yesterday they are playing hard and can score at the moment -- take a look at their record vs Seattle - there's money to be made over the next couple of days on them.

In 3 days - I'm 7 / 8 -- 1

which in money terms puts me down $80ish ... So I have only one Bet Today - and that's San Diego over Seattle... I put it at 80% today

doubling the amount I bet on the Game Yesterday - and I expect them to win.

I thought it would be an easy win - and really they should have won by more - should have been 8/10 - 1 but that's baseball for you.

Seattle is atrocious - with all their young guys playing - no real consistency to an innings.

8/8 - 1 now -- but ahead quite a bit due to larger bets winning.

5/29 Selections

Cubs 60%
Boston 65%
Cleveland 65%
Tampa / Miami Over 70%
San Diego / Seattle Under 75%

SD Vs Seattle should normally be an easy under - but seems when 2 pitchers show excellent results for that type of game one of them Blows Up - but anyway I'm still making it my highest rated play today.

Miami hitting is improving and should be a competitive game that goes over.

Cle/Bos/Cubs ... they just come in above 55% which qualifies as a bet -- simply they should win - but the randomness of baseball is always a factor in these games - and the reason I've rated them lower.

Well even though I rated it at 80% - meaning I thought the bet would win 8/10 times this particular game was played ... I felt pretty comfortable saying it would win last night.

As we all know not every bet we take is going to win - random events are random that's just the way it is.

The main thing is I'm comfortably ahead and looking to hit some games today .. cheers.
