I personally find it difficult to cap thus the reason I rarely do.

Someone (gyn maybe?) stated how quickly the traffic in the baseball forum dies down as the season goes on. Seems like everyone starts out winning, tracks their record then leaves because they end up losing. Probably the sport the common joe knows the least about as well. Name the starting SS for most teams and I can't name them but name the starting WR or QB for NFL teams? I can name almost all of them.

I try not to but it is the sport I live and breathe so I always view it as the sport I can figure out from a gambling perspective. Bullpens are just SO GOD DAMN VOLATILE.

I do but I like baseball. Oddly enough my least favorite sports are college football and college basketball and I bet those the least. People here just love football and nothing else.

Also when I got here in 2009 the baseball board was very active. Every day you'd have in-game threads for a ton of games. Now it's all gone. It's basically dead.

Never liked the game much, therefore I never followed it enough to wager on it.

I understand people are going to point out that you don't have to know a sport in order to wager on it and make money by following others, but I'm not up for that unless the info is coming from an outstanding source...

I live on the East Coast and the Winter's are brutal so when it's 85 degrees and Sunny outside I have better things to do over sitting around watching the Royals play the Brewers. It's also hard to focus on handicapping the huge cards everyday when the swimming pool, deck and 6 pack of cold beer is calling my name. Long Story short I watch more than enough sports during the cold month's of the year and use the summer to relax. I have no clue how anybody betting real money on games can do this 365 days a year without becoming emotionally drained. It's good to just step away from it all for a few months and when College Football returns late August you're foaming at the mouth to get started again.

Also the last few years the betting syndicates have struggled with Baseball and they usually close up shop halfway through the season due to lack of value. I know Billy Walters and other major players in the Sports Betting industry take the Summer off.

I think you're missing out if you don't wager on baseball. Its a grind no doubt but if you familiarize yourself with the teams and the right angles to follow its hard not to make money.. Reduced juice, MLs instead of spreads, etc. Baseball very streaky as well, teams get hot and cold and it becomes contagious.

IMO there is doubt that baseball is the easiest sport to make a profit with.

The large betting syndicates including Billy Walters disagree with you. That said I guess anybody should focus on whatever is working for them and keep cashing.

because baseball is utterly boring to the overwhelming majority. it's also something that if you lose at, you're angered even more since there's so many damn games and you feel like you've somehow forced action.

How do they disagree?

NFL has insane limits.. But like anything everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. Also many don't find baseball fun.

I bet it but not as regularly as other sports. Too many hours to focus on it. I find myself following more and that becomes less fun.

This kinda surprises me. As much as Billy loves to try to middle and side pointspreads , i would have figured scalping baseball was his bread and butter. ... Oh well , i guess scalping is difficult to do in vegas ?
