Some batting notes:
KC has only hit 28 HR's this season, 29th in league. OPS under .700..

M's have horrible offensive stats but they hit HR's.. 58 so far this season. They have only scored 189 runs
(3.7 per game 26th ranked) but they are top 8 in HR's. So if Seattle isn't hitting HRs they aren't scoring.

Nats offense has been horrible:
Nats rank 29th in OPs @ .660 only Miami is worse.
Nats rank 29th in OBP with a terrible .292

Cubs offense is not good but they hit DBL's 113 doubles this season, ranks 3rd.
Yanks only have 72 ranked 28th

Obvious but worth noting that Miami is bottom 3 in just about every offensive category.

A's doing moneyball again
BA 24th
OBP 6th

Pitching Stats:
Pirates pitching has been dominant. Both starting pitching and relief.
top 3 in many categories.

Cubs opp ba .229 ranks 2nd in MLB.. Teams are only hitting .229 vs Cubs. Cubs pitching is underrated. Cubs are top 5 in many
categories..

Twins opp ba .291 ranks 29th in MLB

Hard to hit HR's vs Det and STL...

HR's allowed
Tigers :29
Cards: 31

Everyone else 40+

AL East HR's allowed
Blue Jays: 68
Balt: 62
TB: 62
Yanks: 54

Lots of HR's in AL East..

Reds pitching leads the league in OPP OBP with only .296, its not easy to get on base vs cincy.

Cards BP has an OPP Ba of .281 worst in league, really bad thus far.
