If my daughter tells me she is picking one of those or about 10 more I can think of I'll pull her ass out of school and tell her to get a fucking job in retail. It's where she's heading anyway with those damn degrees.

don't understand why someone would take a major in which there are no jobs, wasting 200K

a friend's daughter majored in History at Boston Univ, has a degree, but doesn't want to teach.

Really? what else are you going to do? practice law?

Friend has a History Degree, and he is risk specialist at an Insurance Company. Doesn'tt make a killing, but almost double of what's posted above.
