I tried to find out via the internet but didn't have any luck. My guess is they got in around 6am-7am?? I figure an hour+ to get onto a plane after the game, an hour to fly there, and an hour to get settled into a hotel.

When you mix fatigue with jet-lag it's even worse the 2nd day than the 1st day.

Royals may be sleepwalking Saturday , especially with a day game after a night game.

St. Louis to Dallas is only a 90 minute flight in the same time zone. Fatigue due to playing late and an odd sleep cycle perhaps, but jet lag, no. I am sure they will make BP optional as well. I really do not think it will have that much of an affect on the game. Texas is simply the better team with the better pitcher on the mound tonight.

I remember watching a program last year which a couple of baseball players were interviewed regarding jet lag/travel/fatigue from late game. Surprisingly to me, all of them said it wasn't the first game of the series that impacted them so much rather the second game was where fatigue had really set in.

They are definitely out-matched tonight anyway...all around...in my opinion

How about that poor umpire crew ? They've got the Cubs day game today. They couldn't have had more than 4 or 5 hours sleep .... and you know Joe West needs at least an hour at the buffet.

Tonight the Royals are outmatched, tomorrow the lingering effects of the late game could spoil their Shields start, and Sunday I'd take Darvish over Santana right now for sure. I took Rangers to win the series -200.

I had cards was hopeful game would be called and I get the win. But come on when do the umps ever wait for a 4.5 hr rain delay

Had KC and was so sure they would call it due to the bad weather lingering. Was delighted this morning when I saw they resumed. Not rubbing it in, just agreeing that I was surprised.

Same here. I woke up about 4am to take a piss and checked...happy to win! I thought for sure they would call it. Sorry for those who didn't
