You have to give boxing champion Carl Froch credit for his otherworldly restraint.
So you think otherworldly is too strong? Well, Froch swore off having sex before his bout against Mikkel Kessler.
No big deal you say?
Well, he pledged ZERO sex with his girlfriend ... for three months prior to his fight. Oh, yeah ... this is his girlfriend:
And when all was said and done, his control paid off — twice. First, the 35-year-old scored a unanimous decision over Kessler to retain his middleweight title. Then he was rewarded by model girlfriend Rachael Cordingley for the punishment he endured during those three months of abstinence.
“It feels fantastic to be doing again what normal couples do,” Froch told (Note: NSFW) The Sun . “We had a hot, steamy night of passion that had been building up for the last three months.
“So of course there were fireworks in the bedroom.”
Cordingley is also happy things are back to normal in the bedroom.
“I’m glad it’s all back to normal. We had some fun. He’s like a modern-day Spartacus — a real man.”
