Im kinda tired of hearing ignorant people talk about how Lebron had to hand pick his team to win a title.

His supporting cast is sooooooooooo over rated at this stage.

The Bulls without Jordan would crush the Heat without James 8 days a week.
Its not even close.

i dont think you know much about basketball.

wade is a borderline all star player along with bosh, that duo alone will at least get you to .500 and is better then half the duos in the league. they have an emerging guard in norris cole, and solid bench in haslem, allen, birdman, and a decent point in chalmers. this is a 45-50 win team without lebron. with lebron this is a 60-65 win team.

Easily a .500 team w/out Lebron.

The current version of D Wade is not a borderline all star.
Bosh is tragically overpaid.
He is not a max contract player.

Miami does not have a single current all star type player on the entire team besides Lebron.
Chicago had 3 HOF'ers.

Point of the thread is the "BIG 3" phrase has been blown way out of proportion.

There is no "BIG 3" Miami.

Its a "BIG 1".

If Lebron would have gone to Chicago instead of Miami it would be scary how good that team would be right now.
I cant imagine.

I do not think this current Miami team easily wins 41 games in the regular season without Lebron.

Well Wade is hurt right now but if you replaced LeBron with a replacement level starting SF with this years Wade when healthy and Bosh then yeah they probably would win 45-50 games. If you take hurt/banged up/aging Wade then yeah, they probably wouldn't.

Also Bosh is worth the max, the max is artificially low because of the CBA. About 30 teams would pay Bosh that contract if there was no "max"

I agree with your overall premise though, the picking his team is very overrated. Not his fault he was on a crap team and decided to go elsewhere. I said this to EF 2 years ago and he said LeBron would be forever tained for it (bumped it today, pretty funny stuff considering he now thinks he might be the Greatest)

Agree with OP. Bosh is good to very good, Heat needed him in final 2 series last year. Wade seems to be declining a bit, maybe due to injuries. This years supporting players are overall a little better than last year's. with no LBJ they're a .500 or slightly above team.

In the East I agree with gtc, watered down East that is they still get in the playoffs above .500 and probably the 4-6th seeds.

I was thinking about this last night Jordan's Bulls team vs current Heat team.

Jordan/James = easily take Jordan
Pippen/Wade (healthy) = Wade
Grant/Bosh = Bosh easily (and I hate Bosh)
Inserts white/black bad bulls center/Birdman = Birdman
Kerr/BJ Armstrong = Chamers (tossup?)

But looking at those lineups I think the Bulls roll the Heat because of Jordan but you take Jordan & Lebron off those teams, I think the Heat win and maybe fairly easily.

Pippen clearly better than current version of Wade. Wade this year and last is not the same as 2005 Wade.

Also the 2nd 3peat they had Rodman and Kukoc.

I think 500 or sub 500 is a bit drastic.. wade would have this team doing well enough and bosh has played well also. imo its just like LA.. with all the stars together it actually made them less of a team.. with kobe, they were better.

Lebron is not playing for the cavs any longer chop

We´ve seen this act from Wade before. Isn´t he always injured come playoffs because of his style of play? Not saying a Lebron-less Heat team would go deep in the playoffs, but they would be a solid team still and I have to think they'd have 50 wins.

He is older than most people think, he will be 32 in Jan.

"if Lebron went to Chicago." LOL

If Dwight Howard went to the Miami Heat.......

If you go ahead and look at how they did this year in the games that Lebron did not play in...they have over a .500 record. That is the only way that you can compare this because the situations and the team would be totally different if there was no Lebron in Miami. Who brought Ray Allen, Birdman, Shane Battier.... they checked with one man and his name is Lebron James. So this team would be totally different. Your point doesn't make any sense in my opinion. But I don't like Lord of the Rings or any fairytale shit so that may just be me.

wowwww. I am off post review. Feel like I just got off a long bid or something. Hallelujah

and play for Dan Gilbert.... no. He will stay in Miami forever. Because he knows the history of this game and the Miami Heat are not an old franchise. Perfect team to do it with. (Did he not say he wanted to win 8 champions?) Why do it for Chicago and have your name next to Jordan your whole career. That's suicide

Isn't the James' Jersey/memorabilia pile still on fire in Cleveland? I don't confess to know the mentality of the Cleveland sports fan, but they've been burned a few times with their professional teams... I wonder how forgiving they would be in that area.
