Sad news. Mookie was my alltime favorite Sooners basketball player. I hope he pulls through...I loved this guy. He was a character with a great name. A little trivia...The band Pearl Jam was originally named Mookie Blaylock.

I never really knew what "stable condition" meant. Dead people are in stable condition. I hope he wasn't DUI. That would be a sad legacy, especially if the people he hit are hurt bad.

One person in the van he hit has been killed.

The Hawks tweeted Friday night, "Our thoughts are with Mookie Blaylock, who is in the hospital tonight after a car crash."

Pretty disrespectful by the Hawks if you ask me. Guy and his wife driving and hit by Blaylock and the wife dies in the crash and the Hawks don't mention her in their tweet?

News flash Hawks...you get 140 characters. Use them.

A family member said that Mookie Blaylock has been under treatment for seizures. It was not known if that contributed to the accident or if Mookie would face charges if he pulls through...

Going to reserve judgement and hope the guy wasn't drunk as he'll face a very long jail sentence. Maybe it was just an unfortunate accident due to a seizure.
