Hell yes, I'm 32 and just now figuring out what I want to do.

Started my undergrad studies in Marketing. Decided I hated that but I was so close to getting the major I got it anyway.
Ended up double-majoring in marketing and statistics (switched over to stats junior year cause I liked it and just ended up getting both).
Got out into the real world and decided I liked engineering.
Got a Master's in industrial engineering; got a job doing that and decided I liked computer programming.
Currently pursuing a 2nd Master's in Computer Science.

I'm gonna be one of the most educated MF'ers in the world by the time I finally decide what I want to do for the rest of my working life (if I ever get to that point). I don't know if it's a grass is always greener thing or what, but every time I get something down pat I lose interest and want to learn/pursue something new. Unfortunately I don't think there's much money in being a professional student. :ohno:

My dream job is still to do something involving stats, computers, and sports. One of the guys who calculates QBR and power rankings and shit. Or to be a linemaker or something involving the sportsbetting industry. Just not sure how to get on those paths...

I also would have married the girl I left for my ex-wife. Had that choice to make early on in life and I chose wrong. I still keep up with the first girl on FB, she is super successful and looking REALLY good...obviously it didn't work out with the girl I chose. Been regretting that decision for a long time now. Not to say it would have worked with girl #1 but it couldn't have been any worse than it was with the one I chose, haha.

Can't change the past though.

I have 3 degrees in math/computer science area including an MS in Computer Science.

If I had to do it again, I would go to medical school.

No but she has a BF that she lives with. We still stay in touch; she actually invited me to come out and visit her in DC and I'm going next week for 5 days. Haven't seen her in 7 years. Should be interesting but of course I have no expectations given her current situation. There has always been a spark between us though, I'm curious if it will still be there.

Doctors have a pretty miserable life IMO

One of my best friends is an ER doctor in OKC and he hates all of humanity. Look at what a bitter asshat zit is now. Can you imagine him after years of dealing with lowlifes trying to scam him out of Oxycontin?

"Would you follow a different career path? "

Assuming this is 1 of those "if you knew now what you didnt know then" questions I'd take a different path at EVERY thing i did at 18... I had no father, no direction, no leadership...Hell i drove off and said the Hell with college cus i couldnt find a place to park when i went to take the ACT test. It wasnt that i didnt want to do the right thing i just had no frickin idea what that was.....Still dont actually.

When did you become an insane conspiracy theorist? Because I can see how being paranoid all the time would cripple one's job prospects.
