Hell yes, I'm 32 and just now figuring out what I want to do.
Started my undergrad studies in Marketing. Decided I hated that but I was so close to getting the major I got it anyway.
Ended up double-majoring in marketing and statistics (switched over to stats junior year cause I liked it and just ended up getting both).
Got out into the real world and decided I liked engineering.
Got a Master's in industrial engineering; got a job doing that and decided I liked computer programming.
Currently pursuing a 2nd Master's in Computer Science.
I'm gonna be one of the most educated MF'ers in the world by the time I finally decide what I want to do for the rest of my working life (if I ever get to that point). I don't know if it's a grass is always greener thing or what, but every time I get something down pat I lose interest and want to learn/pursue something new. Unfortunately I don't think there's much money in being a professional student.
hno:
My dream job is still to do something involving stats, computers, and sports. One of the guys who calculates QBR and power rankings and shit. Or to be a linemaker or something involving the sportsbetting industry. Just not sure how to get on those paths...
