Never bet one of these before. But Grown Ups 2 is projected to gross 40 mil the first weekend. So how does the Internship go under 18 mil? You couldn't pay me to see Grown Ups 2 and I'm going opening night to The Internship, just in the hopes that it's 20% as funny as Wedding Crashers was.
internship and the purge are the only major releases, if you figure on a $150 million weekend, back of the envelope calculations - furious 6 might get 25, now you see me 20, after earth 12, star trek 10, hangover 10, epic 10, others 20
so that leaves 20 each for internship/purge...
right now internship is projected 24, purge 16 which is right in line with what i would guess for the total, i think purge will top that and internship will fall below
