Yeah I only put a very small action wager on it, mostly cause I just wanted to see a good game and was praying the Heat would lose although I knew it wouldn't happen. Shit hockey game, shit NBA game 7. Blech. Time to play some poker and go to bed.

sick man.

Really pisses me off that a team that has been all heart the entire season goes out with a whimper.

33-38 game/set/match ABC got the match-up it was hoping for.

I counted 5 walks and 2 runs of 3 steps or more in the third quarter alone, One whistle??

I'll play Spurs for the Series opening in Miami Thursday...........

When watching an NBA game you count the amount of travels you see? That must be fun.

If you think it's not on the up and up, why follow the product? Must be better things to do.

It's not a question of the game being on the "up/up" how does the rulebook read? Last time I read it was 3 steps was called a "walking violation"? the NBA modified its rule regarding traveling to update antiquated language. This rule now states you are allowed to take up to 2 steps[SUP][2][/SUP]

Section
VII—Pivot
a.
A
pivot takes place when a player
, who is holding the ball, steps once or more than
once in any direction with the same foot, with the other foot (pivot foot) in contact with the
floor
.
b. If the player wishes to dribble after a pivot, the ball must be out of his hand before
the pivot foot is raised of
f the floor

. If the player raises his pivot of
f the floor
, he must pass
or attempt a field goal before the foot is returned to the floor
.
If he fails to follow these guidelines, he has committed a traveling violation.
Section
VIII—T
raveling
T
raveling is progressing in any direction while in possession of the ball, which is in
excess of prescribed limits as noted in Rule 4—Section
VII and Rule 10—Section XII

Ya I know, travelling been rampant forever. Game 4 2011 2nd rd few years back, LeBron put an all time travel move on Pierce lifting his pivot to score downlow 1 of the biggest plays of the game. Game went OT and the Heat won to go up 3-1. Rondo had 1 arm so C's lose anywhere I'm sure but still...

You said 33-38 ABC gets their way though...

If TV networks were getting their wish, the Heat wouldn't have played the Pacers tonight. They would've played the Knicks.

rampant no doubt! Changed how game is vs. how it was! That was 19 point advantage on free throws, not saying the "Fix" bc i only saw third on way home from track at Joe's Grotto Pizza........ I saw LJ trip over himself once and a foul was called???

I think late the 3rd Q they only had like 17 FTs and they were up 15+ at that point. A lot of the FTs were in the 4th Q when they were up 20+

Wade had a really bad double dribble that they did not call.
Had to rewind the DVR just to make sure I saw it right.
Dribbled the ball to the corner of the key.
Then held onto the ball(stopped dribbling)for a full 1.5 seconds then started dribbling again.
Nobody said a word.

check out my thread. watch the lakers kings highlights. Heat were not allowed to lose this game. They could of put the worst basketball players here at the RX on the heat and we would of been shooting freethrows all night

In basketball, traveling is a violation of the rules that occurs when a player holding the ball moves one or both of his feet illegally. Most commonly, a player travels by illegally moving his pivot foot or taking three or more steps without dribbling the ball.
Traveling is sometimes also called "walking" or "steps" or "ducing."

I read somewhere earlier the ball needs to be moving for it not to be a violation so on the play you mentioned it should've been called!?!

Wonder how the next generation will play this game.......
