Really? That kind of surprises me.
You have to take his college career into account since the basketball HOF is both college and NBA.
He had a HOF college career at Duke which would have probably got him in even if he did not play in the NBA.
Close call- I'm saying No-- injuries got the best of him.
After the first six seasons of his career, before his ankle injury, Hill had a total of 9,393 points, 3,417 rebounds and 2,720 assists. Oscar Robertson, Bird and LeBron James are the only three players in league history to eclipse these numbers after their first six seasons.
It's the basketball hof - not the nba hof

can't look at his career averages only. they were obviously brought down a large amount in his post injury and elder years.
looking at his All Star games and more importantly his MVP shares is a better indication.
here are the active players MVP Shares Rankings...

I'd say no one after Grant is really a good bet to make the HOF based on Pro career and almost all the guys Before him WILL deserve to get in when all is said and done. I think Grant Hill based on his Pro career would be just outside the bubble of getting in. There is a good chance his college and olympic background will get him in though
