The Atlanta Braves have dropped the first two games of the series vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers and may be a little wobbly after a grand slam by LAD in game one and two wild pitches by the Braves relievers that ended game two. LAD is looking for a fifth win in six games tonight while Atlanta hopes to avoid a three games skid. Medlen is 2-6 3.14 ERA on the season and Medlen's 3.14 Puns Per Game ranks among the lowest in MLB. Medlen did receive 5+ runs in his last outing but Atlanta's offense has been stymied so far in this series striking out 18 times and going only 1 for 10 with Runners In Scoring Position. Medlen will need Run Support to be successful tonight. Fife is 1-0 4.50 ERA and is looking to build on his first MLB win. Fife will start in replacement for Capuano and will look to add to the Atlanta K talley. Puig is .421 with 4 HR's and 10 RBI's for LAD and LAD is 4-1 as a team since Puig was called up on Monday of this week. Matt Kemp and Carl Crawford still sidelined with injury for LAD but Atlanta should be full stength with position players. Atlanta now with a sub .500 Road Record at 16-17 but hold the largest division lead at 6 1/2 games in MLB. The Braves may be a little foggy after the two jabs the Dodgers connected on in the first two games but will have to come out of the corner swinging tonight providing Medlen the necessary run support. The Dodgers will look to continue the pressure looking for another jab possibly setting up the knock out blow. LAD has now won 8 of 12 when the Braves come to town so Atlanta may be accustomed to being on the ropes at Chavez Ravine. Source: ESPN MLB Preview
