I thought it was pretty solid .. Cruise played the role well and has done it many times (book fans didnt love cruise though because reacher was supposed to be a beast of a man in size)
I have rad 3 or 4 of Lee Childs books and unfortunately this movie was based on on of the ones I had read, so I did not enjoy the movie as much as I would have if I had not read the book.
Many thought Cruise was the wrong actor for the lead role based on the books. But I pretty much agree with the posters above. I'd give it a solid 8/10.

Yeah one part by the hotel confused me at first. Something about who looks like they could kill a man with one punch. Then Tom Cruise pulls up in a car. What? Hadn't read the books and a friend told me the guy is supposed to be huge. Someone like the Rock
I liked the movie but it was more of a whodunit than an action film. I like the "Mission Impossible" movies better. I would give it a solid 8/10 though.
