Did I play these poker hands right?? This bastard is pissing me off tlaking shit lol

So Im playing on Ultimate Poker (the new online here in Vegas).

Im playing the 25cent-50cent no-limit table (yeah low stakes Im not a poker player lol)

This little fucking retard talking shit saying "I own you, suckwad, donkey" etc etc... but fucker wont meet me anywhere in Vegas lol. So anyways these are the 2 hands I had that I lost to him.

I get J/A suited hearts and I raise to $1 preflop... he is the only one calling.

Flop come J 4 6 ( rainbow ) so I bet $2.50... he just calls .... Turn come K Spades... I bet $2.50 , and he raises to $5... so I fold. He doesn't muck but shows his K 4 Offsuit and I say, nice turn. He then goes off.... "I own you donkey".. Im like "wtf do you mean"... Then he says "Give me your money and get out of here chode"... so I just ignore it.

I fold the next few hands... then I get pocket 10's... Raise pre-flop to $1 ... again, he is the only one who calls. Flop comes 3 10 6 (rainbow again). So I bet $3.... he calls. Turn comes a King. So I bet $5... and he raises to all-in, I look at the board... and the only thing I can see is he has trips also (worst for me is trip K's) or a straight/Flush draw. So I call his all-in.

He turns over his cards 7/8 offsuit (seriously??) ... River comes... 9 .......... So the shit talking begins for no reason again. GTFO loser, thanks for your donation... I OWN YOU.... blah blah blah...

ok... so WTF did I do wrong to make him "own" me... I thought I played those hands correctly didn't I?

I think in both cases a raise to $1 is a minimum raise and you should be raising more preflop.....I'm thinking minimum of $1.50-$2.00.....more depending on the table.

i can't fault you for calling the second hand. You were ahead.....I guess the worst hands against you were the 4-5 or the KK....and with a min raise by you and only a call, it is near impossible to put him on KK. even a 4-5 you are ahead. I make that call everytime.

Find this guy tonight! Lotta shit talkers online and he probably has the money to lose, if he was really trying to make money he would learn to play....so hes a gambler and u have the best odds gamble all he wants!
I would find him and let him have position or be on his blind. Buy -in for $40. Raise PF to $12, if he calls there is $24 in the pot and you have $28 left. The second the flop is dealt dont even look...shove...If he wants to flip coins all night as a 70-30 dog quit your day job...lol

Here is what happenened. 2/5 game at Winstar casino in OK. All the Dallas weekend warriors come every friday. So, this dude who doesn't play everyday, is at our table. It is around1:00 am. HR has shades on, so of course I start talking shut. I am like are you DEA, KGB, Interpol, you have shades on. He goes you have a problem. I said yeah I have a problem with people who were shades, generally means they can't play. I am getting this guy all pissed. Next hand I straddle. He is UTG, he makes it 30. 6 people call. I make it $200. He shoves with 9/6 off for $700 something. I snap call. I had KK. He gets busted and leaves and everyone goes, man all that shut you talked got you $750. My objective is too find the mental midget and tilt him.

Agreed ... the online smack talk is to get you off your game. If you take it personally, then he wins. Also... if you try to explain your play... he wins. He is simply trying to get a reaction out of you. I recommend that you tag his user name and then make a note on his profile. Someday in the future you may play him again... just wait for your heads up winning hand and then give him some smack talk right back.. Maybe one week from now, one month.. one year... regardless. As for engaging him in conversation... best thing to do in the scenario you describe is to stay quiet. He will think you are not reading chat and quit the smack at some point.

Like others have said, looks like you played them fine. Only suggestions would be: consider raising more than the minimum preflop and ignore online trash talkers.
