I've read that there will be a supply shortage.

GameStop is guaranteeing consoles with deposits of $100! Comes out in November!

$500 total price tag!

Tried on best buy website and it says won't be delivered until News Years Day!

Get it before it's gone. Going to try to get an extra to sell for some Money!

Will I be able to re-sell it for a big profit?

I almost bought Wii U thinking I'd be able to re-sell it. Good thing I didn't.

King you still could have made a little cash off of the Wii 3-4 weeks after it's release, but I'm guessing the Xbox One will be more limited...

looks like you have to buy bundle with a game for $560

i think the time has long passed where you get a big bump on reselling these things, and the initial price tag is so big...

I was able to get one without a game bundle for $499...

I'm buying an extra to make some money, hope to make at least $300

There are already reports Microsoft is trying to step up production on the Xbox One because the company is worried it won't come close to meeting the demand or investor expectations. In fact, there wererumors surfacing last year that Microsoft was facing challenges producing the number of processors it needed to be ready for a retail launch this year, so an Xbox One release shortage could be a very real possibility.

like what? needing internet access and the limited sharing of games since they will be downloads?

Or otherstuff?

I assume he's talking about the internet access.
A lot of ppl are turned off by that, but the true gamers all play online anyhow and will still make the purchase...

Disagree. The "true" gamers- the people that pay attention and monitor the industry want nothing to do with the "Xbone". Microsoft really overstepped their bounds and if Sony follows suit I will soldier on until my PS3 dies and then I am finished with console gaming.

But DEAC let's be realistic.... The larger percentage of gamers are the younger generation, and almost all of them are playing online.

I agree that Microsoft may lose many customers with this idea, but heck most ppl have the internet these days anyhow so that's the way they are probably looking at it and believe they won't lose enough to hurt them...

the price point will hurt them. if ps4 comes in at 400 they win.

I'll probably buy the PS4 only for the bluray and future Metal Gear games. I rarely play enough games to justify buying any of them to be honest. Last game I bought was Skyrim and before that Zelda Skyward Sword.

I might look into this new game Last of US, that's coming out this week.

Yes that game is supposed to be fantastic.

I also don't have the time to put into them as I used to do King, but will still buy elite games such as above, and also waiting on Dark Souls II

I rarely play either but it's not about time because if you think about all the time you might spend watching tv or on the internet, time is no excuse. I just play and get bored easily.
