if you are trying to make money on that particular game, the 2nd one

over the course of time the earned runs are going to even out, and the guy with a whip of .57 is going to be better than the guy with the whip of 1.71

i'll take the bottom guy as he's a ground ball guy and gets double plays and can pitch around good hitters

top guy makes to many mistakes and will get taken yard daily

Bottom guy all day long.

He can get himself out of jams and doesn't give up the long ball.

Ill take the top guy.... He made a couple mistakes and paid for it.

The bottom guy seems to have made a few more mistakes and got some needed outs luckily at the right time.... Russian Roulette type of pitcher

long term a pitcher that limits baserunners and misses bats is gonna be way more successful 95% of the time
