The Atlanta Braves will be back in action tonight at Turner Field to host the World Champions San Fransico Giants. Atlanta went down in a three game sweep at San Diego and looks to get back in the win column at home where the Braves have a 21-7 Overall Home Record and have won 13 of 15. Atlanta seeks some payback this weekend as the Giants spanked the Braves earlier in May of 2013 at AT&T Park in San Fransico outscoring the Braves 23-4 in the final three games winning three of four. San Fransico however has a 13-20 Road Record the lowest in MLB of any team above .500 overall. Medlen is 3-6 2.87 ERA and draws duty for Atlanta in Game One. Medlen struggled by his standards in the majority of the first half of this season but has managed to peg back to back wins throwing 13 2/3's Shutout Innings in his last two outings. Sandoval, Scutaro and Pagan are listed day to day with nagging injuries and Medlen may or may not have to face these great hitters in the San Fransico Lineup. Posey however has an eleven game hit streak with 14 RBI's vs. Atlanta. Bumgarner is 5-4 3.58 ERA and allowed three Runs and five Hits in five Innings Pitched in his last outing. Bumgarner was 0-3 in four career starts vs. Atlanta but notched a win over the Braves in the May Series on the West Coast earlier this year. Jason Heyward is .395 in a ten game hit streak and has homered in each of his last three games vs. San Fransico. Justin Upton with his 15th HR in the San Diego Series is 9 for 17 vs. Bumgarner. Both teams come into tonight with a 5-5 Last 10 Record. Medlen will need run support while San Fransico will need Sandoval, Scutaro and Pagan to get patched up as soon as possible. The matchup between Manager's Fredi Gonzalez and Bruce Bochey usually makes for a chess type of game with each manager looking for an added advantage with situations arise. Should be a great crowd on hand tonight with the weather forecasted to be excellent. Atlanta will look foward to be back at Turner Field after a disappointing road trip but will have to manufacture runs tonight a task they did not achieve while on the road earlier this week. THe braves own turner field. They are a historically good home team. Other teams don't stand a chance. They don't blow ppl out normally but their pitching staff is so good at home that late in the games their relievers can put it away with ease. Go ATL RL +170

Atlanta is 5-0 SU Last Five at Home. The Under is 10 of 15 when San Fransico plays on the road in Atlanta. The Over is 6 of 7 in last San Fransico/Atlanta matchups.

Bumgarner even though with a good outing the last time in this matchup will be in an opponent ball park tonight and may revert back to his past numbers. Any deeps ball should carry tonight with the warm weather. The focus tonight will be Atlanta -130 looking for Atlanta to notch a home win with Medlen much better recently. Atlanta Scores First +105 and J. Heyward Hits + Runs + RBI's Over 1 1/2 -130 splitting up some small Props rounds out the evening. Start Time for this game is 7:30 PM EST and can be seen on MLB Network Channel 213 DTV or FSSO Channel 646 DTV.

Atlanta down 3-0 through three complete innings. Bumgarner may be on his way to a gem if Braves don't come alive soon. Medlen has to hold them to three and offense needs to get a few at least to tie it. Let's Go Atlanta.

Bumgarner has been racking up the K's and looks like Atlanta will be bed shitter tonight. 6-0 San Fransico after seven complete innings. The 40,000 in attendance tonight maybe wishing they would have saved their money.

I bet Braves tonite. 3 loses in a row and coming home, looked like a good play. Instead, they look tired and lifeless. I will ride them again tomorrow hoping they can reverse the 4 losses in a row trend.
