Might be able to save it... Think the Hard Drive is loose.. either they will be able to take it out and put it back in.... or Replace the Hard Drive.

But if the cost is too high... might just get a New Tower... or a All in One
Wife mostly uses it... but I keep Business files, Photoshop, Photos on it.

Don't say a Mac .... I want Windows OS

computer won't Boot up, so I can't get to that point.

I know the Hard Drive is loose, because the Bios will show it, and then it won't.
Can't do a Restore because that will clear my Hard drive out. Can't get to the point of Upgrade either.

just going to see if it could be fixed, if not replace the HD
or Buy a New Tower

You should be able to get a much better model than you have now for 3-$400 at a place like office depot, I wouldn't shell out 6 or $700 myself.

Also... in the past the Geek squad has always been a Rip-off ... but I got Lucky this time around..

Got a pretty cool dude to help me out... opened the Tower right in front of me... unplugged the Hard Drive and put it back
( always thought from my research that the Drive was loose some how ) He did say it was.

anyway... hooked up a mouse, Keyboard with the Screen right there and started it up. hard Drive was dead
a couple of choices.... send it out and see if they can recover my Files....cost about $200+ then would have to buy a New Hard Drive..
cost anywhere from $99 to $199.... so I put it at the lower price....$300+ plus their Fee ($99) = $400

Double the price ( $799 )

ACER use to be cheap... not anymore. They must have gotten better... I just can't trust them Myself

they also had a nice lenovo, which makes some of the Best Laptops. But I don't how their Desktops are so I passed.
IMHO I believe Computer Companies make either a Great Laptop or Desktop... excluding Apple
Not Both.

I like Dell for Desktops... Toshiba or Lenovo for laptops
