I started collecting dollar chips from the craps games years ago. I only collect from the places I have actually played at. I wish I would have started sooner, have been to Reno and Tahoe a couple times but that was before I started collecting. Also missed on keeping some from the places that are gone, such as the Dunes, Hacienda, Landmark..... In spite of missing a lot of places, I think right now I have chips from about 140 casinos. I have some duplicates, mainly from casinos that change their theme or the look of their chips. Paid for most of this one time when I was in Vegas in the middle of a cold streak. Stopped in at the Palms just to play enough to get a couple chips, think I bought in $20 and walked out with 300-400. Would never have played at all if I was not just trying to collect a couple chips.
