Need info on Daytona!

I will be in Daytona for a week in july......where are the best places to party, eat, and see some strippers......thanks in advance

that's where i stayed when i went to visit school. i live in port orange now, just 10 mins south of where you'll be. as auggie said, ocean deck is a cool place. seabreeze is usually decent and a few blocks down there's another street of bars.

Daytona is a shit hole. Some decent restaurants....but for the most part the whole place is a tourist trap shit-hole! If you're under 28 you might have fun....

not even very much fun for those of us under 28. i'll go maybe once a month to seabreeze. bike week is fun though, as is the week of the 500.

I agree if you like anything even close to nice, not sure you will find it here.....I like finer things when I travel and this town stinks, brother lives here so have to go every few years and nothing changes

I enjoyed the Speedway Tour, and the dog track never gets old to me, anywhere. There is one located in front of the Speedway near Turn 1. good luck...

Just curious, Why is Daytona the destination in the First place? If it's during the 4th, it's a race week, and the partying will be unbelieveable. Still a shit hole...lol

about the only time it's good is the week of 500 and bike week. otherwise, not much to see.

a shame it's a 3rd world dump
sounds like my conference in baltimore in 09....nice on the harbor....inner city is a dumpster fire

go to new smyrna beach, it's within a half hour of daytona.

went to my first one this year since i moved down here. cannot stand nascar, but i actually had a great time. lots of fun. if anyone goes next year i'd be glad to get a beer with you.
