i wish i had time to watch all 8 seasons. after this vaca it's back to the grindstone and i won't have time to plow through any more seasons
something with about 3 or less seasons is ideal for this trip home. what's 24 all about? i know i can google the answer to that but i'd rather hear it from someone here.

You dont have to watch all 8 seasons at the same time.
Its about a CTU(counter terrorism unit) lead by Kiefer Sutherland(jack baur)
The reason its called 24 is because each season is 24 episodes of 1 hour each.
So when you get through watching one season you saw a complete day(24 hrs)
There has never ever been another real time show like this ever done before.
Thats what makes it great.
If you like shows with a continual story where the next show picks up exactly where the last show left off 24 is for you.
If you love shows with incredible cliff hangers you will love this show.
I know of at least 20 people who agree's with me that 24 is the best show they have ever seen.
One season of 24 is like watching a 24 hour high budget action thriller.
Just watch the first 2 episodes of season 1 and you will see what im talking about.

If you start watching Season 1, You WILL stay up All Day and Night to watch the Rest puff_>>
when I played catch up, after not seeing the first two seasons... We stayed up All Night long and watched Both Seasons !!
There is not a better way to watch 24 then on DVD or Netflix.
I watched a few seasons week for week and it was hard because at the end of each show there would be a ridiculous cliff hanger that I would have to wait an entire week to see how it went.
With DVD or netflix all you have to do is press play.
DVD/Netflix is THE way to watch 24.
I would have loved to have been able to watch 24 season 1 to 8 anytime I want without having to wait.
Just watch the first few episodes of season 1 ZIP and I promise you will come back and tell us its the best show you ever saw.
Another great thing about 24.
All 8 seasons are great except for season 6.
Most shows that go 8 years have 2 or 3 bad seasons you have to get through.
24 was great from beginning to end.
Only season I dont give 4 stars to would be season 6, and even season 6 was not awful.
And another great thing is 24 is coming back this fall for season 9 after a 2 year vacation.
So this show is still making new shows in the future.
