Bi-Plane crashes with wing walker: Jane Wicker : riding the wings

DAYTON, OHIO — Media outlets are reporting that a stunt plane carrying a wing walker has crashed at an air show in western Ohio.

The crash happened Saturday afternoon at the Vectren Air Show near Dayton. A schedule posted on the event’s website had Jane Wicker Wingwalker scheduled to perform.

A fire dispatcher confirmed a crash Saturday to The Associated Press but had no other information.

The Dayton Daily News and several TV stations say the plane burst into flames when it hit the ground. A fire truck extinguished the blaze.

Officials told the Dayton Daily News that two people have died in that crash.

At 7:50 of this interview.. which took place less than 3 months ago... a pilot that works with her describes the exact maneuver that took her out as his biggest concern.

I don't know why this guy wasn't the pilot yesterday... it seems that a 65 yr old guy was piloting during the crash. Whatever the case might be... the move which ended in a crash is described as a major concern for this pilot while Jane sits there next to him. Eery foreshadowing.

This woman was a mother of two by the way. Senseless way to go.
