I thought this post could be helpful regarding the Las Vegas Hotel Football Supercontest. It is known here as the World Series of Poker for FOOTBALL Handicappers with $400,000+ going to the winner last year and a prize pool over a Million Dollars paying down to 20th place. This year they are expanding the prize pool to pay the top 30 places. 100% of entry fees are returned to the players. The only requirement is that you be 21 years of age or older. The signup fee is the same as last year $1500. The deadline to sign up is Friday September 6th. There's is an early bird sign up which includes a $10,000 mini-contest held the last 3 weeks of regular season play. I will confirm that date soon.

Many people who are not from the area would like to enter the contest, however, are not able to submit picks every week. The contest has a solution where the players MAY AUTHORIZE A PROXY(a person authorized to act for you) TO SUBMIT THEIR SELECTIONS BY PROPERLY SIGNING AND AUTHORIZING SUCH, IN PERSON AT THE SUPERBOOK. I was asked if people can share entries, actually a team of 4 won it 2 years ago and a team of 3 won it 6 years ago so yes it can be done.

We have many references as proxies from past and current entrants. Ken a good friend has helped me for years with the contests and is taking more of a roll this year as I'm taking classes but I'll still be involved logistically. Timewise Ken has all the time needed to devote to all contests in town this year so we both agreed it was best for all parties involved. Many entrants to the contest also write off a portion of the entry fee as a marketing/business expense because they use their website or sports service for the entry name. To make it clear you are simply authorizing me to put picks in every week. Proxies cannot collect anything at the end from the sportsbook for your entry. It's 5 games a week against the point spread, sides only.

Should you have any questions regarding rules, regulations, or want to set up a time to meet when in Las Vegas, please do not hesitate to contact me by PM or at lvhpicks@yahoo.com

The going rate for this type of service is $250 in addition to 10% of winnings. We really don't make anything off the up front fee, with thursday games all the time now, We are down there minimum 3 times a week often more to accommodate the people in the contest especially late in the season. They start accepting entries July 1st. I will update the thread periodically. You can PM me or write to lvhpicks@yahoo.com

You should mention that a person using a proxy must be in Vegas at least once to sign up.

Bagiant is right....you need to sign up in person. I have used sharky the last few years but you have to sign up in person along with your proxy.

if you have some random third party sign up they also can take ur money if u win

good point....fwiw, i think bagiant just didn't understand.....so it is more of a comprehension thing than actually reading....lol

again, I have used sharky99 and he is a good dude and a good proxy. (There was once when I had multiple teams and i switched up the team # and he caught it and verified with me which picks belonged to which teams)

thx for checking in fellas, with all the Thursday games now players need to know that if you decide to play a Thursday game then your entire card for that weekend needs to be in before the Thursday games start.

Just too much to do, in so little time.
Plus it's hard to be in Vegas first week and Work here at the RX.
