[h=1]Lakers drafted R. Kelly in second round[/h]
Was bump n’ grind going to turn into dribble n’ flop?

But it was late Thursday night, I love me some Fiesta (Remix) and I couldn’t stop looking at the image on my phone’s sports app.

But then I started thinking. And over-thinking. Kellz did play professional basketball, albeit 16 years ago as a celebrity headliner who got garbage minutes on a team in a now-defunct minor league. He was on the Space Jam soundtrack expressing a belief he could fly. He does have a basketball court at his house. He has been called a “ball hog who shoots all the time” and he’s really old, which would make him a perfect fit on Kobe Bryant’s Lakers. The Lakers could have reached to get R. Kelly with the 18th pick in the second round to keep him away from his hometown Chicago Bulls, who do need a backup for Derrick Rose.
This was all starting to make sense — too much sense. But, alas, the potential giddiness only lasted a few seconds. The Lakers didn’t draft the man who brought you Trapped in the Closet (Parts 1 to 33), but this guy, the talented Duke forward you almost certainly remember, except when you get super-excited about the possibility of the man who sung “braid my hair” catching passes from Steve Nash.

Thank you for posting this as I love R. Kelly especially the "Ignition" remix! Also can't forget the classic "Feelin' On Yo Booty" whose video was hilarious with all those famous rappers, the infamous blowjob queen "Superhead" & even Lennox Lewis!
