New England Patriots' New Logo

The Patriots have undergone a number of major changes already this offseason. Why not one more?
The Patriots announced a logo change on Wednesday, going to a much bolder look — quite literally — look than their previous insignia. The new logo features the “Patriots” names spelled out in big block blue letters with the Flying Elvis emblem stuck smack-dab in the middle. It’s a big change from the plain white cursive script with Elvis hanging out over the top of the “P.”

I like the football player logo as well. Seriously though, that's their new logo? That's it? I've only been working in graphic design for a few years and I can put that together in Adobe in 2 minutes.

They figured out that Trayvon's girlfriend couldn't read the old one (cursive). Had to change it.

I was thinking its gonna be Hernandez with the logo hat looking into a gun with a rifle scope ( a play on Hernandez and spygate)

I always equated this logo to mediocrity because the Patirots always sucked and they got their asses KICKED when they finally did make it to the Super Bowl with that logo along with those pitiful uniforms. Much much much better now.

Another team with sucky ass logo's and uniforms are the Bengals. Just awful.

I love both the Pats old uniforms and the Bengals, both unique.

isnt that white patriot racist since there are non white patriot players? the logo essentially personifies a patriot as only a white male.

the new logo is race neutral, which is good.

It didn't "make the story" but there was a surprising amount of votes coming from the NY [Jets] area for this one
