Marlins (+1.52) @ Cardinals. I'll be happy to back the Marlins and that big tag this evening. The Marlins have won 7 of their last 3 which tells me that they are going well as of late. Marlins are an aggressive team and I feel that bodes well against Westbrook and his piss - poor K/BB ratio. 1.00 to win 1.52.
Twins (+1.56) @ B'Jays. Yeah, I'm crazy or am I? Toronto has lost their last 2 and 7 of their last 10, why the hell would you lay that much chalk with those numbers staring you in the face? I know that the Twins are really struggling, I'll just say this you can throw that Yankees sweep out the window...Yankees own the Twins always have. So, you have two bad squads going - I'll take the big tag and a decent chance of winning. Last 6 meeting between these two clubs have been decided by a single run. 1.00 to win 1.56. Luck & Laters.
White Sox @ Rays (-1.34) Rays handed the CWS their ass last night making it two wins in a row and 7 wins in their last 10. On the other side you have the CWS who have just 2 wins in their last 10 contests. I'm backing Moore who has gone 3-0 (1.86) his last three against Sale who has gone 0-5 (3.61) his last six. It should be noted that the White Sox scored a grand total of 13 runs in those 6 starts (2.16 per). The game might be tighter than I expect, doubtful. 1.34 to win 1.00. more later.
Dodgers (+1.47) @ Giants. This wager is influenced largely by the large tag. I look at the starting pitchers as basically a toss-up at this current moment. Bumgarner 3-1 (1.93) his last four starts, while Fife is 2-0 (2.29) his last three starts. Let's look at the current form of each squad; Giants have lost 12 of their last 14 while the Dodgers have won 11 of their last 13 including smashing the Giants 10-2 last night. Other than the home field I see no strong reason to lay the chalk tonight. 1.00 to win 1.47.
Friars @ Nationals -1' (-1.04) I'm going to break one of my own rules and play the home team on the run-line. I really don't see this game going any other way other than a multiple run win by the Nationals. Friars are coming into form, which isn't that good meanwhile you have the Nationals getting hot and scoring runs...a lot of runs as of late. Also, Zimmerman is a beast at home, in 10 starts his numbers read: 9-0, 1.50 ERA, and 0.94 WHIP. This looks like B.O.C. to me. 2.08 to win 2.00. Luck & Laters.
