Just curious, has anyone here ever patented an invention or idea?

That's great, good luck. Let me know how things work out for you and your buddy. Had a couple ideas that I wanted to bring to fruition.

I'm involved with a great product that my buddy has 7+ patents on...will become commercially available in the near future.
A 20-year time span of trying to get this this thing launched is finally coming to fruition.
This guy has spent ALOT of money on this.
Revamped website will be up soon.

We'll see. It definitely has legs. He's a man of God and has released himself from this obsession he had for several years and is letting his son do all of the legwork.
He has manufacturing in place here and in China. They just received a several thousand unit order to Australia.
I think his price point is a tad high-but his life coach thinks it will work.

He has several years left on his main patent.

I was developing one, (I am a hairstylist) it will be of no use to anyone here, lol,,, I called it" fibonacci color sequencing" ,,, as I was attempting to use the fibonacci sequence to map out color patterning in hair color,, Im not even sure its patentable{sp} lol as it is only a technique,,,

a friend told me its more of a trademark thing than a patent thing,, lol,, and my move should be to finish the lattice work, trademark it, then try to license it to a color line,,, who knows?<> maybe I will some day,
