I was doing about 20MPH close to my house when I notice this log in the road as I came around a curve. Had to jam on the brakes and look a little closer and yes sir it was about a 10 foot gator crossing the road. Funny thing was a cat was messing with it; swatting at it and jumping back and forth. I live near a big area of land that is persevered so we have everything one wouldn't want to see up close and personal. Saw a black panther about 20 feet from my porch once. So I wait for the damn thing to cross and drive back to tell the security guard that there is a gator walking around. It's right at sunrise so people are walking, jogging, etc...Dumbass tells me they're protected and the only thing he can do is call Florida Wildlife in the morning. Ummmm....it's the MORNING and a gator is walking around on the street. I know where it came from but had no clue where it was going unless there's a swamp somewhere. Another example of a well trained employee :think2:

Tampa Bay area. Alligators are everywhere. Seems like a lot of stray cats live in the forests as well. I think the cat was defending it's turf.

I have a coyote prblm out here by me....
Good luck with that. I've noticed a lot of news stories stating coyotes have become bolder due to dwindling food sources and of course human encroachment.

Well, I have a fenced in yard for my dog....but

I've heard stories and seen first accounts of what these coyotes can do...

A Huskie and a mastiff get caught @ night by a pack of them....they had NO chance...

They are scared of people...so I'm not worried...they mostley come out @ night..

really not a big issue...except for pet owners w/o a fence...Oh and rabbits don't have a chance...either
