Hardest decision of my life was deciding if I should make a special thread for my 25000th post.
I was an excruciating dilema.
Should I or should I not?
You would not believe the agony of the thought process.

You know you only get to make your 25000th post once.

So it was a once in a lifetime type thing.
If you choose not to you can never go back.

You see what im talking about?

I made the decision not to do that because sometimes when I see other do that its kind of cheesy and dumb.

I will never know if I made the correct call.

Single hardest thing of my life.

Easy answer for me, giving up booze.

No brainer decision but by far hardest thing I've ever actually done.

Congrats on that. I have a few friends I wish could/would make this decision

Hardest thing by far was burying my girlfriend back in January 2010.
Hardest choice probably was quitting my job, selling pretty much everything I owned and leaving everything behind in Germany and move to Costa Rica and later on to Brazil to start all over without a conventional job and finding happiness in life again. In hindsight the decision was rather easy though and probably one of the best decisions I ever made, but so far in life still by far the biggest choice I actually had to make for myself.

Got divorced last year (not the hardest thing)...... But having to pass my daughter over to her mom half the time is the hardest thing. I have my daughter everyday mon-Friday and every other weekend, but I work in the evenings so she goes with mom when I go to work......Ive done some stupid, petty type shit in my life ive had to dig my way out of, and my dad told me this would be the hardest thing I've ever done and the man was right. I kinda tried getting back with "baby momma" a month or two ago but she is just too miserable of a person for me and to be honest I'm not as good of a dad to my daughter when I'm around her mom. She just drags the whole damn room down

If they are truly alcoholic they will likely get there, their life just has to get miserable enough first. Just gotta hope that happens before they die. I have seen people drink themselves to death, it is not pretty.

Struggled for a couple of months trying to deal with that, but time heals some wounds & I'm a firm believer that there is always a silver lining, no matter how bad a situation might appear and even though you might not be directly aware of it in the beginning.
As much as I would still like to change the course of time, I think it made me a better a person because it made me change lots of things and straighten out some of my "values" or priorities in life thereby giving me a "healthier" look on what really should matter to me in life. And I wouldn't be where I'm at now if that hadn't happened, so as strange as it may sound, it somehow changed my life for the better...

For me the hardest thing I've ever had to do is lose weight. I once weighed 453 Pounds. I was on my way to my death bed. I was able to put my ass in gear and within 16 months I got down to 220 pounds. That was a mountain/journey for me. I've never had to worker harder in my life then that

Well, to cut a long story short: She had moved back from Germany to Puerto Rico shortly before that and I was supposed to follow her in March. So that night in January she went out to a club in San Juan with her sister & her sister's boyfriend and while waiting for a cab outside the club, they got robbed and she got stabbed and died the same night in the hospital.

Holy fuck man that had to be the shock of all shocks. So sorry to hear that. Glad you're handling it well.

The hardest thing for me to overcome was my divorce. I really let my ex down. We both loved each other deeply and I made so major mistakes. I wish I had been a better husband. Toughest choice and one that changed my life (wish I chose differently). I turned down a job offer from ICM, entertainment agency. I was too short sighted and looking at monetary gain, instead of long-term gain.
