ummm... Okay...

Well I went into 5dimes to copy odds, and was looking it over.... I refreshed, and suddenly half the field was lowered by 100s of points!

So not pleased about that, my first instincts went from +550 to +275 in matter of the 10 secs on I was on the site.

Haha same thing just happened to me but it wasnt 5dimes it was a different shop. I clicked on Cano +500 and when i hit submit it said odds change click refresh and Cano went to 350.

I ended up playing Cespedes +480 and Wright +750.

Cepedes (my first choice) went from 550 to 275

5dimes lines are so out of whack right now I contacted CS just to make sure they were...

Pinnacle on SportsOption just opened up and difference is mindblowing... 100-300 points difference per player

I like Davis, Cespedes, and Alvarez. Would like to see Fielder be the only person with 3 HR Derby Titles though, so who knows...

I've hit the Home Run Derby the last 2 years.... Looking to make it 3 in a row. Cespedes is my early lean

Anyone know how the ball flies in Citi Field?

Huge park, think it's a terrible place for Home Run Derby.. Lefties or Righties have an advantage... Last year there was odds on this.. I'm sure they will come out later today, I will probably lean toward the favorite lefties or righties..

Pretty even dimensions, left center still a tad shorter than right center, but don't think that it'll matter.
In general I prefer the AL hitters, although Alvarez & Harper both have a nice uppercut swing. Wright imo isn't really suited for that kind of competition with his swing and the rest Cuddyer, Alvarez & Harper are rookies when it comes to the MLB HR derby, even though at least Harper has participated in that type of contest before (on a much smaller scale). In general Alvarez & Harper imo have that kind of uppercut swing, you need to have a fighting chance, but not sure if that lack of experience will play a role.
Cespedes/Davis certainly have the power & swing, but same lack of experience (plus the pressure for Davis since everybody is expecting him to put on a big show). Fielder has a proven track record and Cano also has the total package, so I'm thinking about the -150 on an AL hitter to hit most HRs in round 1.

I believe Davis or Cano have the most easily repeated swing in this field. I think Wright is going to pepper a lot of screaming two-baggers. Fielder knows how to play this event. I don't believe Cuddyer has a fighting chance. Calls Coors home.

good point, all I know is Pedro Alavrez is known to put on a show in batting practice...

Also, heard that Chris Davis is taking this very seriously, him and his pitcher have been practicing for a while....

Betting on a guy who hit zero the year before is tough to stomach. Good luck with your plays.
