Papelbon should pipe down...he's been part of the problem lately.
I like his fire and attitude on the mound....but he needs to get people out and as of late he hasnt been doing it.
Was a nice trade piece for phils a bit ago...but now nobody wants the contract for an average closer...which is what he is right now.
All due respect, with the price of the contract, the state of the Phillies for last couple seasons, and a deteriorating skill set, this is has been a horrendous acquisition for the Phils since the contract was signed.

Agree. Pap wore out his welcome in boston because of his mouth and he just keeps on saying dumb shit. I would at least accept his comments if he wasn't blowing saves every other chance he gets.
I agree this was a bad contract and it still is.....other teams see that but baseball has alot of dumb gm's so hopefully they can unload him
