Mine is out of control long, about 20 mins today...
Only a year old laptop, granted I constantly downloading stuff, but what can I do to speed up the start up time. It's only time it's slow.
:think2:
is a bad habit. Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall things you don't need. You're gonna have a bunch of unnecessary shit going on during the boot up process and then running in the background. Once booted up and you have the crap uninstalled, control-alt-delete and check out the programs you have running in the background. Google everything you don't recognize and uninstall or disable non-critical processes.I constantly downloading stuff
Best way to improve start up is never turn it off
I recommend using ccleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/features and clean up your registry and also your startup.. program is very easy to use.. here is latest free version.
