That is fucking terrible. Fuck those guys!

Agreed.. I don't believe in killing something just for fun.

I live and work with several hunters around here (mostly for deer) and I am not shy about pointing out my feelings on it to them.

They understand though...

I eat every deer I kill and even donate some to the homeless....Facts are facts...If we didn't hunt them, then they would take over. I am against poaching and the "if it's brown, it's down" hunters as well. But, if a trophy buck or a nice doe comes by, it goes home with me. I let countless deer walk last year, and only brought home 3...1 for me, 1 for my pops, and 1 for the homeless shelter.

Do you ever kill just for their racks?

By the way let me point out that I'm not totally against it, such as in your example given above.

I'm just not going to kill something for food unless there is a shortage in meat, and there is plenty of that at the stores for everyone...

Deer burgers are delicious. You're absolutely right, if people didnt hunt deer they would be running rampant.

Had no idea about moose steak. I'm enticed. Always loved deer meat no matter what it was, whether it's the jerky, steaks, or roast. Deer roast is good in the crockpot with a can of cream of mushroom soup.

I think I made it clear I never kill just to kill...A trophy buck with a nice rack still get eaten, although I prefer does by far.

Man you'd barely be able to drive down the street without hitting one, and there are a lot of humans killed by wrecks caused by deer yearly. Restricted hunting is needed, poaching is not.

I kill at least 5 per year. Do similar things with the meat. Also kill lots of dove, quail, and ducks. Went on a non-gun hog hunt a few years back that was amazing.

Yea, you have some Monster hogs in your area....Hogzilla...lol I like to hunt ducks and such as well. I've taken a liking to bow hunting here the last couple of years, and Sept 17th can't get here fast enough. Hope to get a couple in the freezer before gun season in Mid October.

If a bear comes running at me and I have a gun. I'm gonna shoot first and ask questions later.
